The “Dielli” group from Han i Elezit, who took fourth place in the Youth for Change Competition, implemented their project in the lower secondary school “Kështjella e Diturisë”, this project was supported by the Municipal Directorate of Education of Han of Elez.
The main goal of this project was to create opportunities to use reservoirs for water accumulation in the school, the accumulated water will be reused for watering the garden – flowers, decorative trees and grass, saving water and electricity.
The fifth group of the Youth Competition for Change, “Vajzat e Mjekësisë” from Podujeva in collaboration with the Director of Culture of the municipality of Podujeva, Mr. Balaj and the Psychologist of the high school, “Isa Boletini”, the students of this school created two bicycle parking lots in the courtyard, to raise awareness of the importance of using bicycles in everyday life and the positive impact they have on the environment. Also, the printing of materials aimed at raising student’s awareness of the problems and challenges of their age.
The Competition is part of the environmental activities of the Swedish Agency for International Cooperation and Development (SIDA), through its “Human Rightivism” Program that is implemented by CDF and TOKA.
