EC has carried out a cleaning action in the parking lot and the park behind the White House in Prizren in order to create cleaner and safer spaces for human health as well as for the protection of the environment in general.
In addition to cleaning this space, posters with awareness messages have been placed, calling on citizens to be more careful with the environment. Also, one of the reasons for this condition in these spaces is the neglect and lack of investment in them by the relevant institutions, including the lack of containers/baskets.
At the same time, poor management has meant that these spaces do not enjoy adequate maintenance, turning into waste oases and thus causing general danger.
Therefore, the EC calls on the competent institutions for more investments, more adequate management and better maintenance of these spaces.
