Hostels in the region of Bjeshke i Nemuna are investing in alternative energy sources to cope more easily with the difficult winter months. During this season, inns and lodges face frequent power cuts and insufficient supplies for their guests.
With the support of the PPSE project, about 10 hostels will install solar panels and batteries with sufficient capacity to ensure the most pleasant stay for the guests of the winter season.
PPSE is a project of the Swiss Development Agency (SDC) and is implemented by Swisscontact in Kosovo and the Riinvest Institute.
