The Municipality of Fushë Kosovë / Kosovo Polje, respectively the Directorate for Public Services, is continuously dealing with the management of environmental issues, especially with the implementation of projects in the field of waste management. In the neighborhoods “028” and “029” in Fushë-Kosovë, which are mainly inhabited by Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities, four illegal landfills have been removed, while in “Lismir” one illegal landfill has been removed on the bridge and on the street “Meshari” near the Sitnica River large amounts of waste have been removed.
